Hi. My name is Ryan Hailey.

On July 10th 1986, I was born in Memphis, Tennessee.

In 2009, I received a Radio-TV-Film degree & a Advertising degree from the University Of Texas.

In 2010, I moved to Los Angeles.

During my first years in L.A. I worked on film & television crews (Step Up 5, Murder Of A Cat, Totally Biased with Kumau Bell), while also freelance editing (The Pixies' "Greens & Blues", "The Urban Nomad" web series for RedbullUSA.com), while ALSO directing music videos (The Radioactive Chickenheads, Santa Youth) & while ALSO performing as a professional birthday clown.

In 2013, I wrote & directed a children's TV pilot called The Kids Of Na, about a kids punk band with original creature costumes by GWAR founder Hunter Jackson.

In 2014, based on the strength of this weird pilot, I was hired to be the head editor for the newly revamped Fred Figglehorn Channel. I edited a variety of comedy skits, wacky game shows, fake commercials & musicals for the Fred Channel's 3.5 million subscribers, writing & directing much of my work there as well.

In 2015, I became the head editor at Wisecrack, a startup comedy-education branded youtube channel. At Wisecrack, I edit four totally different biweekly shows. The most famous of these shows is Thug Notes, a street-smart literature show used by teachers all over the world & a regular feature on BET's The Xperiment (with a book by Random House coming out soon!). My other Wisecrack shows include Earthling Cinema, 8-Bit Philosophy, Pop Psych & Boss Bitches Of History.
